
V Good is an Illumina Digital label. Co-founded by Victoria Powell in 2004, V Good established itself as an exciting content company producing popular, headline-grabbing content for broadcasters. Following the acquisition by Illumina Digital in September 2008, V Good now works with multiplatform producers to develop entertainment content for the interactive world, bringing its surprising, mischievous brand into the new media age.
Victoria Powell, Creative Director
Victoria has a strong track record in delivering excellent content with innovative flair. Since co-founding V Good in 2004 Victoria Powell has led the company to produce compelling headline-grabbing content for the major broadcasters including C4, BBC, Sky One, Five and Bravo. She co-wrote and produced Tony Blair Rock Star for C4, and has executive produced a succession of other hits including Inferno 999, The Girl Who Never Ate and To See Or Be Seen. Prior to founding V Good, Victoria produced CROSS MY HEART starring Sophie Okenedo and Archie Panjabi for FilmFour and won an RTS award for her drama BABY. Her digital experience includes launching a group of web ventures for News International including FiredUP.com. She has an Interactive Media degree from Bristol UWE and an MA from the National Film and TV School.
Basi Akpabio, Development Executive V Good
Basi brings to V Good experience covering short form, long form and multi-platform. As a Creative Director at the BBC/Red Bee he led teams responsible for promos and interstitial material on BBC2, BBC4 and UK TV. His programme experience includes creating The House Doctor for Five for which he received a BAFTA nomination and last year he was a founder member of ITV's innovation department, Imagine. In his parallel career as a writer his first feature film script was optioned by British Screen and his debut short film, Girl Afraid, starred Honor Blackman and Amanda Root.
